Polymer clay cutter summer cutter

The color of the cutter depends on which PLA we currently have in stock.

Seahorse: 3.3 cm (The seahorse comes with the right and left cutter)
Lobster: 2.9 cm
Lemon: 2.4 cm

We design and print the cutters ourselves from PLA. The filament is FDA-certified as food-safe, meaning it can safely come into contact with food.

When making the molds, we made sure they were 1.4 cm high enough so that the clay wouldn't be touched when cutting. The thicker rim at the top makes it very easy to pull the mold out, and since the thin cutting edge is printed with only a single line, the result is very clean and no clay sticks to the mold. It's very easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Because we print our molds in three layers (each layer 0.4-0.6 mm thick at the bottom, 1.8 mm in the middle, and 4.8 mm at the top), they are extremely stable. However, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight, and only moderate pressure should be applied when cutting them out.

For a clean finish, you can first coat the mold with cornstarch or baking powder and then press it onto the clay with even pressure. Then, rotate the mold in small, right-and-left motions.
