The cookie cutters are perfect for creating cute autumn earrings.
The color of the cutter depends on which PLA we have in stock.
We design and print the cutter ourselves from PLA. The filament has been certified by the FDA as food safe, so it can safely come into contact with food.
When making the molds, we made sure that they were 1.4 cm high enough so that the clay was not touched when cutting them out. The thicker edge at the top makes it very easy to pull them out and because the thin cutting edge is only printed with one line, the result is very clean and no clay sticks to the mold. It is very easy to clean with a wet cloth.
Because we print our shapes in three layers (each with a thickness of 0.4-0.6 mm at the bottom, 1.8 mm in the middle, and 4.8 mm at the top), they are extremely stable. However, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight and only moderate pressure should be applied when cutting them out.
For a clean result, the mold can be coated with corn starch or baking powder beforehand and then pressed onto the clay with even pressure. The mold should then be turned in small movements to the right and left.
